Apple to release iOS 14 for all current smartphones

Apple decided on the list of devices which will be implemented in iOS 14. It will be released this fall, and the owners of old IPhones can not worry about the need to replace the gadget on the new.

As it became known iOS 14 will support the same devices that iOS 13. In other words, even the ancient iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be able to upgrade, not to mention the 4-inch iPhone SE. Thus, if you do not want to spend thousands of money on a new iPhone or move to Xiaomi, this year do just do not have.

But there is a caveat – all of the above only applies to Apple smartphones, because tablets are a completely different story. As you know, from 2019 all iPad work on your system iPadOS, and its modification under the number 14 is not installed on the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4. these gadgets go to rest, and eventually the oldest model of iPad that can be updated will be the usual fifth generation iPad. Recall that this year Apple will release five new smartphones – iPhone SE 2 and the four device iPhone line 12. How much will the new tablets is unknown.
