Operating system support iPhone 5s and newer.
Apple the evening of 19 September released the final version of the iOS operating system 11, the press service of the company.
It is noted that 11 iOS support iPhone 5s and newer, iPad mini 2, 3 and 4 Air and Air 2, iPad fifth generation, all versions of iPad Pro and iPod Touch sixth generation.
To the new operating system added augmented reality technology, the essence of which is that the owner of the device with the camera can add virtual content on top of images from the real world.
All photos and videos are now saved in the new formats and take twice as less memory.
Among the innovations iOS 11 mode “Not to disturb the driver”, which activate, the iPhone owner will not receive notifications and new voice assistant Siri with advanced English.
Also changed the panel with pinned apps (the dock), which is located at the bottom of the screen. Visually it started to look like the computers of the company. Any dock or a running application can now be opened on top of the active programs.
Has undergone a redesign of the AppStore, and in the fall Apple promises to add a “Maps” scheme of large shopping centers and airports in different cities around the world.
