AirPods will receive several important updates. They are waterproof (or rather, will not suffer from rain and sweat) and get the noise canceling function. They will be more expensive than existing AirPods for $159 that will give consumers the choice between basic and more expensive versions.
The company is also working on wireless case charger headphone that will be compatible with the charger AirPower. The lack of this feature, the headphone owners complained often enough.
According to sources, first, the new Airpods had to leave at the end of 2018, but the launch of the headphones was moved at least to the beginning of 2019 due to problems with the development.
It is also reported about the headphones surface-mounted type, which will have a higher sound quality than the Beats lineup from Apple. However, the production of this gadget has not started yet, and engineering and technological solutions for a product not yet finalized.
