Mass production of flagship smartphone iPhone X has not yet begun, while Apple opens pre-orders start next month.
This was told by Christopher Caso, an analyst with Raymond James, in a report on its study of the supply chain.
It is expected that mass production of the iPhone X will start in the period October to December. Thus, in early November of gadgets to be manufactured is insufficient to meet customer demand.
“Our inspections are ongoing, but feedback from our meetings with suppliers suggests that the final production of the iPhone X has not yet begun, and is expected to begin in mid-October. This is about a month late compared to expectations,” writes Christopher Caso.
