Blame Apple accused of violating patents
On Tuesday, November 14, the international trade Commission USA (ITC) reported on the investigation of the case, in which a little-known software manufacturer Aqua Connect accuses Apple of violating patents.
As informs news Agency “Reuters” with reference to the statement by the ITC, the investigation began with a complaint filed with Aqua Connect, a subsidiary of the California company’s Strategic Technology Partners. The authors claim dissatisfied with the allegedly illegal use of patented technologies in computers, tablets, iPods, smartphones and TV set top boxes Apple.
We are talking about components of the system AirPlay, which allows to broadcast images from your iPhone, iPad or Mac computer to other devices. Aqua Connect is developing technologies that provide remote access to desktops and laptops on the operating system macOS.
According to a statement from Aqua Connect, a long-term collaboration with Apple suddenly ceased at the initiative of the latter in early 2011. Shortly thereafter, Apple released a new computer Mac OS X Lion with a built-in utility for remote desktop access. Aqua Connect saw this feature its technology.
