Apple found a way to “entice” users from Windows to macOS

In the operating system from Apple will be a handy tool for transferring data with Windows.

The next version of macOS Mojave 10.14, which is scheduled for release this fall, there will be a way for a painless transition from Windows to macOS platform. In the operating system from Apple will be a handy tool for transferring data with Windows.

Thus, users do not need to prepare flash cards and hard drives to transfer your important files the macOS itself will be able to adapt quickly to the new environment, automatically copying the account applications, contacts, documents, emails and data from third-party applications.

This feature is part of tool Migration Utility, which has been used for easy navigation of OS from Apple. However, the new version will have additional opportunities. For example, it can migrate data from third-party applications such as Microsoft Outlook.

The current version of the Migration Utility and Setup Assistant can only migrate local data, such as stored on the computer documents. However, the sixth beta version of macOS Mojave 10.14 able to transfer entire user accounts, including user data of programs.
