Antonov will perform work on the assessment of the technical condition of the aircraft An-124-100 Ruslan to the Russian airline Volga-Dnepr. About it reports a press-service of the company on Friday, 3 November.
“To comply with its obligations under the interagency agreement with authorized ministries and departments of Ukraine, according to the letter-explanation of Goseksportkontrol of Ukraine on a contractual basis specialists of Antonov will perform work on the assessment of the technical condition of the aircraft An-124-100 Ruslan, OOO Airline Volga-Dnepr”, – said in the message.
In Antonov said that Volga-Dnepr is not included in the list of companies, which, according to the decision of the NSDC of Ukraine, the sanctions are applied.
“The aircraft has a Certificate of registration of the civil SS and can only be used in order to meet the needs of citizens and economy. Thus, Antonov as a developer of aviation technology operates in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and international aviation regulations,” – said Antonov.
SOE said that he is a developer of aviation technology and, accordingly, the holder of the type certificates of the aircraft, particularly transport aircraft An-124-100 Ruslan. That is why the increase of the resources of this aviation technology is a prerogative of the state enterprise Antonov. “Failure to fulfill their duties to maintain civil aircraft An will result in a loss of developer licenses, permits air and loss of markets”, – noted in the company.
