Chicken and eggs will rise substantially.
Chicken meat and eggs are among the most popular protein products consumed by Ukrainians. In 2017 the cost of chicken and eggs experts call stable, but this fall in the Union of poultry breeders of Ukraine has predicted a gradual and noticeable rise in prices of this category of products.
The increase in prices for chicken and eggs is directly correlated with the growth of exports to the foreign market. It turns out that the volume of exported chicken meat and eggs for six months of 2017 increased by 38% when compared to the same period in 2016. But at the same time, production of chicken and eggs has not increased, but has remained the same, these experts and explain the price hike, expected to be in September.
By the way, today the chicken you can buy in price from 53 to 60 UAH/kg, and eggs for 10 to 14 UAH/10 PCs. the rise in the prices of chicken and eggs from September 2017, experts have been slow to articulate, though note that the wallets of Ukrainians is seriously “hit”.
