More than 36 million gadgets that operate on the Android platform, can be infected by Trojans.
This virus is called Judy, and distributed through Google Play.
This information was announced by the Israeli company working in the field of IT security. In the study, the largest store content programmers found about 40 applications that have been infected with a Trojan Judy. Most vulnerable to the virus turned out to be gadgets powered by Android. According to experts, whiter than 36 million such devices could be infected Judy.
According to programmers, Judy belongs to the category of so-called clickers, and striking smartphone great transition to sponsored links. It is noteworthy that all of the infected apps were created by the same company Kinivini, and were in Google Play for several years.
But it is not clear whether this involved the developer, or it was the work of hackers.
