This time no Stephen king, the film based on the events that shook the United States last year. In different cities across the country, children and adults noticed the creepy clowns, they were threatening, people were scared, attacked. Even known about one kidnapping attempt of the child. In Pennsylvania citizens even staged a hunt for clowns, but all to no avail.
Probably, these events became the inspiration for the new season of “American horror story”, but now it’s about the movie “Gags” (Gags).
The picture produced an independent company, Head Trauma Productions and The Line Film Co.. Director Adam Krause, he and John Pat wrote the script.
The mysterious clown with a bunch of black balloons terrorizing a small town in Wisconsin, wandering late at night through the streets and scaring passers-by. Local media trying to figure out who he is and what he wants. But for teenagers — it is just an excuse to brutally fun over the rest. Police trying to maintain order in the town, and a leading conservative podcast promises to put an end to the antics clone, popularly known as Gags. News about “the hunt for the clown” across social platforms, madness and paranoia go far beyond the borders of the city.
The cast includes Lauren Ashley Carter (“the Sacrificial face”), Tracy Perez (“Strain”), Aaron Christensen (“Burden”) and Evan Gamble (“the vampire Diaries”).
The film was partially filmed on the funds raised through Kikstarter, now the project is in the stage of post-production, preparing for the premiere at a particular festival.
