The driver faces imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
On the track “Kyiv-Chernihiv” happened a serious traffic accident in which three people died.
“Car “Volkswagen” moving from Kiev and made arrival on a woman with two young children. All three victims were killed”, – stated in the message.
According to preliminary information, the incident happened on the 70th kilometer of the highway, the driver was sober. This stretch of road is badly lit, in addition on the street was foggy, and the driver didn’t notice the woman when she crossed the road.
On the site of the tragic incident immediately came investigative team, police, ambulance. The woman upon impact, suffered serious injuries and died on the spot, and the children (7 years and 9 months) was urgently hospitalized, but failed to save their lives, they died on the way to the hospital.
The driver of the car “Volkswagen” was a 30-year-old man who works in court. He was detained as article 208 Criminal procedure code of Ukraine.
At the moment all the causes and circumstances of the collision investigation law enforcement authorities. The police opened criminal proceedings as regards 3 articles 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (violation of rules of traffic safety or transport operation by persons who direct vehicles).
