American robbed a Bank to jail, away from the wife

He even did not escape from the guard, just to go to jail.

According to the publication, Lawrence John rippl in September of 2016, came to the Bank, pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the cashier. After the Bank employee gave him 2924 of United States dollar (76 thousand), the robber sat down on a chair in the lobby of the Bank, and waited for the police.

The ripple’s court sentenced to 6 months house arrest and fined $227 (5,900 USD): $100 to the Fund of the victims of the robbery and $127 compensation for the missed working day of the cashier.

As it turned out, ripple suffered from depression caused by the drugs he was taking after the heart surgery. He underwent treatment and regrets his wrongdoing.

“Now I feel great,” says the man.
