In new York on 69-m to year of life has died the singer in the genre of soul Charles Bradley.
“With a heavy heart that we announce that Charles Bradley has left us. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult moment”, — stated in the message in the official account of the musician on Twitter.
According to British newspaper The Guardian, Bradley died after a year battle with cancer of the stomach. Two weeks before the death of the singer has cancelled the remaining concerts of his tour.
Charles Bradley was born in 1948 in Florida. Success came to him at a late stage of his career. First coming on the scene in the ‘ 60s, the debut album by Bradley recorded only in 2011. He worked as a cook, performed in clubs and restaurants in the double role of the “godfather of soul” James brown.
