Looking at the picture, and I want to get behind the wheel and go aimlessly.
Tube, daily trips. For some reason we go to work on roads that are not even close to similar to the roads in car commercials. But such roads are.
Here is a list of roads that will make you gasp in amazement.
1. Great ocean road, Australia.
This 243-kilometer route has it all: breathtaking scenery, wide roads and you can even see a kangaroo.
2. Alaska highway, Canada and Alaska.
If the thought of winding mountain roads and grizzly bears excites you, then you will be rewarded with passing on this track.
3. Romantic road, Germany.
Once on this road you’ll find yourself in a fairy tale. It is a mythically beautiful route takes you through the medieval town and flowering meadows.
4. Atlantic road, Norway.
You’ve probably heard about Storiesangel the bridge, which will meet on your way when traveling on this route.
5. North Coast 500, Scotland.
This road is a real slice of Scottish soul with fairytale castles, rugged beaches and atmospheric ruins.
6. Ring road, Iceland.
Travelling through Iceland enjoy the otherworldly landscape. It will be an unforgettable journey. Volcanoes, fjords and geothermal sources — you will certainly not see this when going to work.
7. High Alpine road of the großglockner mountain.
This route is not for the faint hearted, as the road runs at a height of 2 504 meters above sea level. At the top you will be rewarded with the flying eagles who are circling in the blue and clear sky that you can imagine.
8. Trans-Andean Highway, Chile – Argentina.
Two spectacular countries connects 363 km of road.
9. Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia — North Carolina.
Sheer bliss for those who want to go and go. This route has no STOP sign or traffic light. But you can admire the blue mist that stretches around the mountains.
