For 30 years, American photographer-animalist Art Wolfe visited almost all parts of the world.
The most unusual project Art Wolfe was a series of Vanishing Act, on which he worked for nine years.
“I’ve always tried to place the animals in the foreground in the frame, making them expressive and attracting the attention of the viewer. And for a change I decided to do the exact opposite of this — to photograph the animal in such a manner to allow its natural setting to hide it from the eyes of the viewer. To allow an animal to blend in with the scenery in the picture and disappear out of sight,” — said Art Woolf about the project.
