“Alienist”: the second trailer and premiere date!

In may this year, released the first trailer for this curious teleadapt eponymous detective Caleb Carr, and colleague Felix Kriventsov immediately promised the project the title of the most bright events in a serial environment this year.

Well, bright “Alienista” I wouldn’t call, simply because it is very much dull and gloomy picture he has. And it’s good! Fortunately the story has a melancholy:

At the end of the XIX century, in 1896, new York shocking series of brutal murders in urban slums kill children, each time getting more and more sophisticated — like marks of some bloody ritual. In the end, police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt attracted to the investigation of alienist Laszlo kreizer and crime reporter John Moore, hoping with the help of their innovative methods to track down the elusive serial killer.

As you might guess, to Shine in this Kingdom of darkness will be the actors, because the cast of project really inspires. Daniel brühl (“Inglourious Basterds”) plays the role of the brain of the team, Laszlo Kreutzer and his partner will be handsome Luke Evans (“the Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug”). Also, judging by the trailers, an important role in their investigation will play the character of Dakota fanning (“I am Sam”) and Sean Astin (“Lord of the rings”) will become the future US President Theodore Roosevelt. Well, finally encouraged the presence of the caste of such a veteran like Ted Levine (“silence of the lambs”).

Manages all these big boys Director Jacob Verbruggen (“Black mirror”, “house of cards”).

Returning to the words of Felix, it’s safe to say that the “Alienist” still not going to be a great event this year. Why? Well, just because the premiere will take place on 22 January 2018.
