White desert — sleeping ocean.
The white desert is one of the most unique places on the planet. Just imagine that millions of years ago, this was ocean bottom, and then under the action of erosion has formed karst formations of fossilized chalk and limestone. Cliff took a bizarre unreal beauty — that’s where obviously understand nature’s finest sculptures.

1. White desert is located in the Eastern part of the Sahara in Egypt. It can be reached by jeep from Cairo-500 km. First you need to drive to the Bahariya oasis and then to the Black desert, which borders the White desert, giving even more flavor to these unusual places.
2. When the volcanoes were spewing magma, now hundreds of kilometers can be seen scattered black stones of different sizes. Bright yellow sand and the black stones look especially expressive.
3. If you climb one of the hills, you see the enormity of the desert. Our car looks so small from above.
4. Through the Black desert are building a new road. Civilization does not stand still, and maybe in a few years, these places will not have such remote.
5. Very soon we arrived at the White desert, which covers an area of about 300 km2.
6. The farther you go into the desert, the more you find bizarre shapes — balls, animals, birds, faces, as if carved by a skilled hand of the artist.
7. You can endlessly wander among the fossils and all the time find something new.

9. And here, near the great Sphinx, we decided to stay for the night.
10. Tonight begins the most magical — sunset the sun’s rays give white figures Golden hue, and the scenery here can easily be compared with space.
11. It gets dark in the desert before, about 5 hours, the temperature falls down to zero. Therefore, it is here needed warm clothes.
12. And this is one of the most recognizable pieces of “Chicken and Mushroom” in the rays of the setting sun.
13. Another evening natural show — a sunset. This purple-pink sunset, I have never not seen anywhere else. Looking at all these colours understand the importance of the moment and life here and now, and begin to appreciate the time and count the stars.
14. At dawn, it seems that around snow, I want to approach, to touch and see. Rather, it is reminiscent of some Antarctic and not the desert. Now White and Black desert are national parks, which are protected by the state of Egypt.
