Administration “Vkontakte” appealed to Ukrainians

The administration of the social network made a retaliatory move

The administration of the Russian social network “Vkontakte” appealed to their Ukrainian clients with recommendations on how to get around possible blocking of the social network from the Ukrainian operators.

In particular, the team of “Vkontakte” offers four methods of site blocking: using Opera Turbo/Yandex Turbo or one of the extensions that will allow you to bypass the lock; using the Mozilla VPN or similar service by replacing the DNS server; using the Tor browser.

We will remind, earlier the administration of “Classmates”, “Vkontakte” and Yandex has responded to the blocking of their sites in Ukraine.

“We, the Team of Vkontakte, always avoided party politics. We believe that the Internet inherently has no boundaries. We have defended and will defend the interests of all our users and partners”, – reads the statement of the press service of the Ukrainian office of “Vkontakte”.

We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he was leaving his page in “Vkontakte”.
