Actor Harry Dean Stanton

Harry Dean Stanton is born in West Irvine, Kentucky, in 1926, and not just caught, but participated in the Second world war. In the 50s he began his film career. Finally in the 1980s was starring in the films “Paris, Texas” and “repo man”, which brought together a flattering criticism, and last, and all received cult status for a generation.

But seeing him in the new “twin Peaks”, I thought: damn, how does he do it? As removed as clinging to life? Yes, so ancient, decayed he looked! A heavy smoker, he lived up to his 91 birthday, but “twin Peaks” turned out to be his last acting job.

September 15, 2017, Harry Dean Stanton, died of natural causes in hospital in Los Angeles.
