Acer was one of the first who released the laptop on the new Intel ® Coffee Lake. This laptop has become new Swift 3, reception of orders which started today. Itself Acer Swift 3 for sale for quite some time, but so far only in versions with processors Intel Core of the seventh generation, known as Kaby Lake.
Coffee Lake is now in its eighth generation, announced only a few weeks ago. Order new Acer Swift 3 so far, only one processor from the Coffee Lake — Intel Core i5-8250U, composed of four cores with an operating frequency of 1.6 GHz, while the peak load increased to 3.4 GHz. The processor also carries a 6 MB cache in the third level and has reduced energy consumption, as indicated by letter U in labelling.
Alas, neither the release date nor the cost of the laptop Acer Swift 3 on the most recent chip from Intel at the moment unknown Acer will report a little later, probably by the end of this summer. Note that Intel is currently engaged in a bitter struggle with AMD, which has found the strength to re-start the production of competitive processors and introduced a series CPUs Ryzen for every taste and budget. With regard to other characteristics updated Acer 3 Swift, 8 GB RAM, SSD 256 GB, Full HD screen of 14 inches and discrete graphics from NVIDIA.
