Acer introduced its slimmest AIO PC

The monoblock is built on Intel Core i5/i7 of the eighth generation.

The first event in the framework of the Berlin exhibition IFA 2017 was the press conference of the company Acer, which the Taiwanese manufacturer introduced several new products, including monoblock Aspire S24.

Having 5,97 mm thick body in the monitor area, Aspire S24 is the thinnest computer class “all-in-one” in the history of the brand. Its screen has a diagonal of 23.8 inches and with the width of 2.7 mm is 90% of the surface of the front panel. The display is made by technology IPS, displays 1920 × 1080 pixels and tilts from -5 to 30 degrees.

The monoblock is built on Intel Core i5/i7 of the eighth generation and can be equipped with SSD and HDD volumes up to 256 GB and 2 TB respectively. Optionally, you can set the non-volatile memory Intel Optane.

Other features of Acer Aspire S24 include a wireless communication module 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, 2.1 channel sound system with subwoofer and Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony, as well as built-in wireless charging for Qi-enabled mobile devices. A computer works under the operating system Windows 10.

In Europe the Acer Aspire S24 will hit the market in November 2017 at a price of €999, in the US, its sales will start in January 2018 and it will cost $999.
