During the expedition, the project team has opened up many unexplored wild places of Ukraine
The team multimedia project “My country. Great I square” TV channel “1+1” and “Perso private Broward” returned from the final expedition of the second season.
In the framework of the trip the group visited the island Dzharylgach, Oleshky Sands, the Pink lake in the Kherson region, the Danube biospheric reserve and “Ukrainian Venice” – Vilkovo.
The author of the idea of the project “My country. I perfect square” and the art Director of the TV channel “1+1” Alexey Repik said that Ukraine on a number of criteria exceeds the foreign resorts:
“Expedition we were very lucky to meet good people that we are not only warmly welcomed, but also helped discover new places. For example, we learned that the Oleshkovsky Sands, which is also called “Ukrainian Sahara”, now began to make excursions on Quad bikes. We have experienced the activity for yourself, and I can say that it is much more interesting than, for example, in Egypt. The fact that Oleshkivski Sands – the last battleground, where there was a lot of craters from explosions, and the dunes reach up to 20 metres tall and 40 metres in diameter, which makes the skating much more extreme”
Also, Alex shared what adventures experienced team on the way to the island Dzharylgach:
“To some wild places, we had to get several kinds of transport. The island Dzharylgach, for example, we first crossed on a sailing yacht through the Gulf of Dzharylgach, after walked several kilometers on foot with all the equipment and appliances on his shoulders through the small freshwater lake, and then rode ten miles in the truck on the edge of the island is the old lighthouse in 1902. But it was worth it. The island is a truly wild places of Ukraine, fauna and flora which is so valuable that some species listed in the Red book. Also there you can see wild deer, mouflon, wild boar and ROE deer”.
During the expedition, the project team has opened up many unexplored wild places of Ukraine, among which the Lemurian pink lake:
“We all know about the pink lake Henichesk, but few know that in Ukraine there is another Lemurian. It is called “Ukrainian Dead sea” and it is located near the village of Hryhorivka in Kherson region. Most interesting is that the amount of salt dissolved in one liter of water, there is 50 grams more than in the Dead sea”.
