American tells of his love in Ukraine.
Well-known veteran of the ATO, the founder of Pizza Veterano Leonid ostal’tsi told about an unusual meeting with an American who is the son of a soldier of the Ukrainian insurgent army (UPA).
“He came to us today grandpa. Grandpa and grandpa. Sat. Ordered pizza and beer. After a while he runs towards me, the waiter with huge eyes and says “It puts me money! We don’t work like I say – can the suspension to do, and he puts me and said in broken Ukrainian,” I want to help,” wrote the ostal’tsi on the page in Facebook.
According to him, during the conversation it turned out that grandpa is a citizen of the United States, from Carolina, but now lives in new York, it does with Ukraine and tries to help.
“At some point we begin to talk about the war and had almost tears in the eyes – “my dad was in the UPA, he fought, and then had to leave the country…”. He said it … We hugged goodbye and tomorrow he will come again. The point is that I don’t even have time to ask his name.
