The court sentenced to 14 years in prison militants self-proclaimed “Donetsk people’s Republic” in an attempt to create a terrorist group in the Sumy region. This is stated in the press service of the Prosecutor of Sumy region.
It is noted that during the trial the man’s fault has been proved.
The court affirmed the characterization of his intentional and illegal actions on the part 2 article 110 (infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), part 1 of article 258-3 (creation of terrorist organization), part 2 of article 15 / part 1 of article 258 (attempt to commit a terrorist act) of the Criminal code.
The prosecution said the accused, in addition to participating in the activities of the DNI, tried to create a terrorist group on the territory of Sumy region.
At the moment the action is wanted.
