36-year-old from Poltava staged robbery to assign tens of thousands of dollars.
He told the police that the entrance he was attacked and robbed of a large sum of money. On this fact opened criminal proceedings under part 4 St. 187 (the robbery directed on a taking by property in large or especially large sizes) the Criminal code of Ukraine.
During the investigation the Complainant, the police traced the differences, and later found that he provided false information.
The criminal proceedings for robbery was closed, and the event information is made in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under part 2 of article 383 (knowingly false report of a crime, committed out of mercenary motives) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The sanction of article provides restriction of freedom for the term from two till five years or imprisonment for the same term.
