More than 400 hectares of forest burned in a major fire that broke out Saturday evening in the var Department in Southeast France.
According to local authorities, the fire destroyed the 430 hectares of forest and damaged two houses. On Sunday morning authorities evacuated a campground, located near the scene of the fire, and the inhabitants of one of the districts in ESU – a total of 165 people.
