This month will see the release of a restored version of the classic zombie movie “night of the living dead” (Night of the Living Dead) 1968.
This movie launched the career of George Romero, this film started the zombie horror movie. 114 thousand dollar budget, black-and-white cheap picture, bounce rollers, and then an unexpected success! Well-deserved profits, Romero did not receive because did not register the copyright on the tape and in the end, “night of the living dead” was public domain. In 1999 it brought in the national register of USA movies, and in 2005 he released a colored version of the picture.
Now the company Janus Films is releasing the restored “night of the living dead” in 4K!
Suddenly, worldwide, the dead begin to rise from their graves. Insatiable, they chase people and eat ruthlessly caught.
A group of survivors takes refuge in a rural house. In the night they will have to withstand a siege of several dozen living dead hungry for human flesh.
In October in the U.S. will be limited release “Night of the living dead”, and we’re admiring the new official poster dedicated to this event.
