A Moscow court fined the Telegram messenger

The FSB requires the messenger to provide information to decode the messages.

A Moscow court has fined a Telegram messenger at 800 thousand rubles for refusing to provide the FSB with information to decode the messages.

In late September, the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov stated that the FSB has made on the Telegram Protocol on violation of the “law of Spring”.
This requirement is due to the action of the law On information according to which the services registered in the registry of the organizers of information distribution, must give intelligence agencies the keys to decrypt messages.

How many users Telegram in Ukraine the team of the messenger is not reported, but it is possible to block the service in Russia, they will not change. Another thing, if the FSB will gain access to user data, say privacy no longer have.
