The so-called head of the DND Alexander Zakharchenko said he was ready to sit down at the negotiating table with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. He said this during a live broadcast on one of the separatist channels.
“I will reveal terrible secret. If Poroshenko will demonstrate a willingness to negotiate and confirm their determination to stop the war, I am ready even to sit down with him at the negotiating table,” said Zakharchenko in a straight line.
According to him, the DNR is willing to talk with the Ukrainian leader to “seek a way out of the impasse and thus prevent a new round of bloody war.”
Earlier, Zakharchenko has proposed to close the entry to the territory of the “Republic” the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and members of his former party.
