As it became known from the news from the current Cannes film festival, actor Zac Efron has signed for the lead role in the film “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” (Extremely vicious, malicious and vile shocking) dedicated to the life and work of Maxim Kabir one of the most famous serial killers of the United States, Theodore Robert “Ted” Bundy. Apparently, the project is very ambitious because in the Director’s chair we are waiting for the Oscar-winning Joe Berlinger, a record of which in addition to the “of the Blair Witch project 2: book of shadows” is critically acclaimed series of documentaries about serial killers “Paradise Lost”. So the topic is familiar, and we have all chances to get him something special. It is also known that above scenario will work Michael Verviers, and in the center of the story will be the girl of Ted Bundy, Elizabeth Clapper, who denied the accusations against her boyfriend, but in the end gave it to the police.
According to preliminary information, the shooting will begin on the 9th of October this year.
