The YouTube has changed its logo and announced new developments in their work.
The new logo is not a huge departure from the previous design. It uses the same black, white and red color scheme, but the letters are now closer to each other. The name of the video and the red icon will now be separated. According to the company, this logo will be easier to adapt for smaller screens.
In addition, YouTube will soon allow you to view vertical video without black borders on the sides. That is, the video will fill the entire screen of your phone. After playing the video will automatically adapt to the screen size of the device with which you are viewing.
Other new features include: the ability to change the speed of video playback, new navigation gestures, which allow you to move on to the next videos in two taps on the screen.
YouTube will also allow you to view the video on a dark background. The developers believe that this will facilitate users to view video at night.
The new changes will be introduced gradually to users around the world, although the new logo now adorns video service.
