A YouTube video is once again in the spotlight – this time there was a threat of blocking on the territory of Russia. On the hunt for him went out the Roskomnadzor, and the reason for his interest in YouTube is just one channel, of interest primarily to scientists the sofa.
We are talking about an account of the movement “Open Russia”, which became known directly from the organization itself. Roskomnadzor has already sent YouTube an official letter with a warning about a possible lock on the territory of our country and way of solving the current problem. The Agency cites the request of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, so the interest in YouTube has shown at a very high level.
At the moment, the portal has not commented on the request of the Russian authorities, but the fact of the receipt of the letter was officially confirmed. “Open Russia” made the list of 11 organizations recognized, to put it mildly, undesirable in Russia – the list was compiled by the state office of public Prosecutor, and currently the official website of the movement is blocked in Russia. As for the YouTube, in the end, everything will be decided in our favor – Google will not abandon the multimillion-dollar profits that bring him the ad units demonstrated the Russians have not installed AdBlock on their devices.
