A new version of the phone, the company showed BaoliYota Technology at the IV Russian-Chinese EXPO in Harbin.
YotaPhone 3 will be released in two versions with 64 GB and 128 GB of memory expandable. The devices will cost $350 and $450 respectively. In addition, the smartphone will get two independent screens, one of which is based on the technology of electronic ink. In sale the device will be available at the end of this year.
It is expected that YotaPhone 3 will run on Quad core processor Snadpragon 820 will have 3 or 4 GB of RAM (depending on version) and will feature a 13-megapixel main and 5 megapixel front cameras. Non-removable battery is rated at 3 500 mAh.
“Judging by the specifications, YotaPhone 3 is deliberately simplified to make it cheaper. By the end of the year, when it goes on sale it will be outdated the device, analogues of which other manufacturers made two years ago,” said Dmitry Ryabinin, head of Hi-Tech Mail.Ru.
Chinese firm BaoliYota Technology owns 30 percent of Yota Devices, 34.5 percent belong to Fund Telconet, and 25.1 percent is the share of “rosteh”. The remaining 10 per cent belong to the MTH Limited.
