The court extended the arrest of the former head of fraction of Party of regions until June 12.
The arrest of the former leader of fraction of Party of regions Alexander Efremov extended to June 12. This decision was made Starobilsk district court of Luhansk region at the meeting on Friday, April 14.
“The court finds it necessary to extend the period of detention (Ephraim – ed.) for 60 days, until June 12, 2017, inclusive,” – said the presiding judge.
The panel of the court considers that risks regarding Ephraim has not decreased and has satisfied the petition of the prosecution.
Note, the previous period of detention of Ephraim under guards expires on April 28.
Recall that the GPU has put forward Ephraim suspicions on five counts, including treason. Efremov, has filed a lawsuit in the European court of human rights about the illegality of his arrest.
