As noted in the Novohrad-Volyn local Prosecutor’s office provided public prosecution in the criminal proceedings on the fact of abandonment by the mother of his young children without food in winter and closed in a house without heating that occurred in Palinska area.
Sentence chervonoarmiis’ke district court 26-year-old woman found guilty in the criminal offense provided for part 1 article 135 (abandonment in danger) of the Criminal code of Ukraine and appointed punishment – one year imprisonment with a probation period of one year.
We are talking about that the mother of three young children aged 3, 6 and 8 years, leaving them at her husband, went to social payments for children in another village. After receiving the money, she went home, and went to friends, then to relatives.
“Did not care about young children and husband. Closing to semyradsky February frost in a house without heating and food in the same day he sent his wife to relatives, where they stayed a few days”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
According to the materials of the judicial investigation, in the house, where remained locked children, was “oil and cereal, bread was not … there was no bedding, dishes. The cold, the mud.” In such circumstances, they were almost two days until the neighbors called the representatives of the village Council, who opened the house. As a result of this “custody” and overcooling young children got sick and was in the hospital.

Currently they are all in public institutions of Zhytomyr regional Council – Center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children.
