The court recognized ex-the President Victor Yanukovych guilty of treason and complicity in an aggressive war.
The verdict on Thursday announced a panel of Obolon district court of Kiev.
“To appoint Yanukovych final punishment in the form of 13 years of imprisonment,” said judge Vladislav Devyatko.
The decision comes into force after the appeal if it is filed within 30 days.
Yanukovych has to compensate the court expenses in the amount of 98 551 20 hryvnia.
