Judges heard an excerpt from an interview of the former President and decided to give him the right to be protected.
Obolonskiy court held the next hearing in the case of treason, Viktor Yanukovych.
The meeting lasted only 10 minutes. It was heard videootryvke interview, ex-President of the Russian media.
In it, he accused the Ukrainian authorities in the trial of him and refused to participate in court hearings.
To this the Prosecutor’s office petitioned to provide him with free counsel. The judges agreed with the arguments of obvineniya and set a date for a new hearing.
The next meeting will be held on July 12.
