Obolonskiy district court of Kiev took place the trial of treason of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.
The court partially granted the defense motion: decided to provide an opportunity for the defense to participate Yanukovych in court, possibly with the help of video.
“Taking into account article 6 of the European Convention on human rights and fundamental freedoms, and mindful practice of the European court in similar cases, the court considers it necessary to grant the defence additional opportunities for the participation of the accused Yanukovych in the preparatory court session in a videoconference”, – said the judge.
Thus, adjourned to 18 may, the meeting will be held at 10:00.
