Yandex denied the transfer of data to Russian secret services.
Russian Internet company “Yandex” has rejected charges of the security Service of Ukraine in the transfer of data of Ukrainians to Russian security services.
Neither the staff nor management of Yandex.Ukraine has no access to personal data of users, said the press service of the company.
“There is no data transmission, which accused Yandex, was not… Nor the staff of Yandex.Ukraine, nor the leadership of the Ukrainian division did not have access to personal data of the users of Yandex,” – said in a statement.
Yandex stressed that the “protection of personal data of its users in all countries where it provides services is of the highest priority”.
“There are strict legal procedures under which law enforcement can contact the company with the requirement to disclose certain information – but this should be a decision of the court, the company must consider it reasonable,” said Yandex.
The company now consults with lawyers and intends to take the necessary action to protect his team.
