Yandex closes offices in Ukraine

Employees offered to continue working in the company’s offices in other countries.

Russian Internet company Yandex has announced the closure of its offices in Kiev and Odessa.

It is reported by the Director of public relations of company Ochir Mandzhikov.

“The Company Yandex.Ukraine is included in the sanctions list, and can not actually carry on business in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, all of the company’s account blocked, and we can’t pay salaries to employees,” he said.

He noted that staff will offer to continue working in the company’s offices in other countries.
