Xiaomi today held an important event in China, which presented its first CPU Pinecone S1/S1 Surge.
Besides him, the company showed the smartphone of the Redmi series — Redmi 4X. This is a logical step, since just a few days ago was presented its big brother — the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X.
Xiaomi Redmi 4X comes with 5-inch HD display (1280×720 pixels) with 2.5 D protective glass and a smooth metal housing with rounded corners. The phone is powered by OCTA-core chipset Snapdragon 435 with a clock frequency of 1.4 GHz, graphics Adreno chipi m 505.
The novelty comes with 2 GB + 16 GB or 3GB + 32 GB storage options. Permanent memory can be increased up to 128GB via hybrid slot (nanoSIM + microSD). Capacity battery 4100 mAh battery will ensure at least two days convenient use from a single charge (15 hours of battery life in video playback or up to 18 days in standby mode).
The size of Redmi 4X is 139.24×69.96×8.65 mm, weight — 150 grams. On the back is 13 MP camera with phase detection autofocus, led flash, 5 lens optics and F/2.0 aperture, as well as a fingerprint scanner, which is a great addition at this price. Selfie photo is a 5 MP front camera with F/2.2 aperture.
The cost of Redmi 4X starts at $102 for the model 2 GB + 16 GB and $131 for the version 3 GB + 32 GB. The phone will go on sale in March in several color options — pink (Cherry Pink), Golden (Champagne Gold) and black (Mate Black). Thus, the Redmi 4X will be the main concurrent Redmi 4A, but with much better performance.
