Mircea Lucescu believes that in Russia there is no freedom of speech.
The former trainer Petersburg “Zenith” Mircea Lucescu admitted that it would be better not to run into the Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko. The former coach of “Shakhtar”, said that in Russia it is better to remain silent.
According to Romania, about freedom of speech there can be no question.
“In Russia it is better to remain silent. My biggest mistake started talking about Mutko. Russia is different… I talked about? Now I will speak – I will answer: “Mircea, you are wrong! That’s why so”. But all turned out differently. Know how it is. But I deserve to get a second year at Zenit. That’s all I wanted to tell you. No desire to join the debate! Why so many attacks? Why this aggression?” Lucescu said in an interview with “Sport-Express”.
Experienced Romanian expert stressed that did not want to offend anyone.
“I think in’ 71, what can advise to a person who is younger than me. Maybe I was wrong… If you come here, and that means we need to think about the country. I would like for everyone to do a little good. It’s just not used to the fact that the coach speaks – every something thinks to himself and says nothing. If I made trouble for that again I apologize. No problem! Sorry all who were offended. Lucescu didn’t want anything for myself, only had good intentions… for some reason everyone said that want money. It is not so!” – concluded Mircea.
