Wizz Air cancels free carriage of hand Luggage

Only passengers with Wizz Priority will be able to take Luggage into the cabin.

Hungarian low cost carrier Wizz Air decided to change the rules of transportation of hand Luggage in their planes. Now take into the cabin hand Luggage free of charge is prohibited.

Now, to take hand Luggage into the cabin of the aircraft will have to pay extra. If ticketing takes place online then the amount will be from 5 to 10 euros. When you buy a ticket at the airport for an additional payment will be 25 euros.

In other cases, carry-on baggage will be placed in the baggage compartment before boarding.
