Without “Vkontakte” published a list of popular sites in Ukraine

Banned Russian social network “Vkontakte” relentlessly continues to lose its users in Ukraine.

According to Kantar.TNS, the Ukrainians still use prohibited “Vkontakte”, Mail.ru, Yandex, however, the ranking of popularity – these sites have dropped out of the top ten.

May 16, according to the Decree of the President of Petro Poroshenko in Ukraine banned the social network “Vkontakte”, “Classmates” and other Russian resources for a period of 3 years.

Thus, as of July 2017, the third place among the popular sites ranked Facebook – this social network has become the most popular in Ukraine. At the same time Vk.com ranks 11th, while compared to June 2017, increased the coverage.

Also actively growing the popularity of Instagram.com. And banned “Classmates” was not even in the TOP 25.

Before the introduction of sanctions of the Russian social network “Vkontakte” there were about 20 million Ukrainian users. After blocking the social network in Ukraine, attendance of “Vkontakte” was reduced by 3.35 million visits a day.

The increase of the Ukrainian audience in Facebook is a predictable phenomenon. It is this social network called the best alternative for the Ukrainians. Moreover, Facebook is the prototype of the Russian social network. The next day after a ban on access to the “Vkontakte” Facebook increased its daily reach by 37%. As of June 2017, the Ukrainian audience of Facebook grew to 10 million.
