Wimbledon-2018: Stakhovsky in three sets lost to Querrey

Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky in the second round of Wimbledon was not able to withstand equal the 13-th racket of the world to Manchester.

Stakhovsky and Querrey in London carried out a sixth full-time appointment – Ukrainian conceded 2:3 and was considered the undisputed underdog of the match.

The first set to Stakhovsky was a period of missed opportunities – Sergey perfectly kept his serve in the sixth game was close to the break, but two break-points, Querrey played most confident. In the tiebreak the only mistake cost Stakhovsky defeats in the set.

In the second set Stakhovsky ceased to operate securely on his serve in the match with Querry meant inevitable defeat. The American made a break and finished the game in their favor.

The third set was the same scenario – Stakhovsky failed the game on his serve, and all attempts to get back in the game, Querrey was stopped due to its great flow.

For an exit in the second round of Wimbledon, Sergiy Stakhovsky earned 63 thousand pounds in prize money and 45 ranking points.
