WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KO’s) will fight in a rematch with Tyson fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs).
In comments to BoxingScene Wilder said that in the near future promoter at the official level will confirm the holding of a rematch with fury.
“This will happen very soon. On the game will be announced within two weeks. On the points we have already agreed. Now promoters are working out the fine details of the contract. Soon we’ll have another epic fight in the ring.
Promoter Joshua is trying to derail the rematch? Don’t listen to him. Let him speak. Wilder vs fury. Just so and not differently,” said Wilder.
The first fight between Wilder and fury took place in December of last year in Los Angeles. The match was controlled fury, but Wilder managed to send the British down.
The judges did not see the absolute advantage of one of the boxers, and recorded a draw, which allowed the Deontay Wilder keep his WBC belt.
