In more than 30 kinds of popular lipstick discovered increased dose of heavy metals.
Studies have shown that the cosmetics contained dangerous elements such as chromium, aluminium, cadmium and lead.
Doctors from the University of California noted that women who apply lipstick two to three times a day, can increase the risk of cancer of the stomach, as through the skin the body absorbs large amounts of chromium.
According to them, a lover of excessive drawing of the lips can suffer the effects of slow poisoning and other metals. The researchers recommend women to use less lipstick.
It is worth noting that the United States does not mention metals in the quality standards for cosmetics, but in the EU selling lipstick with the content of these substances is strictly prohibited.
