Thousands of mammals are killed due to local traditions.
When migration begins, the animals close to the shore, where waiting for the locals on the boats that are driving whales into shallow water.

The slaughter of whales is a local tradition and not prohibited by law. However, against the cruel tradition are the defenders of animal rights.
“Whales and dolphins are very intelligent creatures and feel pain and fear just as we do,” activists say.
The defenders tried several times to prevent the slaughter of going to sea, but was detained by the police.
