In 2019, the tariffs on services of centralized water supply and sanitation in Kiev will grow at an average of 49.6%. About it reports a press-service of the Kyivvodocanal on Tuesday, June 5.
It is noted that the growth rates due to the rising cost of electricity, fuel and lubricants, size, rent, reagents, as well as the change in the level of depreciation and repair of fixed assets.
“The estimated tariff for water supply and sanitation estimated % change on average by 49.6% and reach UAH 23 17 kopecks”, – said the Director of the Department of Economics and Finance Irina Kirilyuk
Chairman of the Board – General Director Kievvodokanala Dmitry Novitsky, in turn, noted that if tariffs are lower, the potential consequences both technical and financial nature.
“The company will lose the ability to react to emergency repair work and to fully implement them. Also the biggest problem is the outflow of qualified personnel, and no increase in tariff we will continue to lose them”, – said Novitsky.
