Walker said when he will visit Donetsk

According to him, now all decisions in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass is taking Russia.

The special representative of the US state Department on Ukraine Kurt Volker said he was ready to visit certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, when these regions will be restored to the world.

“If we achieve security and peace for all people in the East of Ukraine, Russian and Ukrainian for all the others, and we will have to implement the Minsk agreements, will be restored to the sovereignty of Ukraine, I would like to visit Lugansk and Donetsk, to see that these areas are restored,” said Walker.

According to him, now all decisions in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass is taking Russia therefore on the interaction with the Russian side Walker intends to focus.

“As I said, the one who makes the decision (in ORDO), – Russia, and I think I need to focus the efforts of the United States, that directly interact with Russia”, – said the diplomat.

At the same time, Walker announced that the issue of granting Ukraine defensive weapons no shifts.

He also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in good form.

“Over the past three years Ukraine has faced conflict on their own territory. It alone produces a lot of weapons and did a lot of work to rebuild its military forces after 2014, when they were defeated. They have been well restored. They are in good form,” added Walker.
